Q. What was your most memorable moments, when you participated in the workshop?

The night we prepared for the presentation the next day was the most memorable moment. After dinner, we still got together and brainstormed ideas and chit-chat. Also, the presentation itself was so wonderful. It was pretty much exciting watching other groups giving their presentation.

Q. How did the participation in the workshop helped to nurture your current self?

Participation in the workshop was fun like we had joy together with new friends especially Japanese students. However, it was not easy to just participate and then finish the program. The procedure of it let you learn how to handle your task, how to communicate properly and work as a team together to deliver as the best outcome as you could. Even it was a few day event, but I had learned to work with Japanese people which was quite a rare opportunity to get despite you were living in Japan.

Q. In your opinion, what experiences from the workshop can contribute to the growth of globalization in Japan?

I think the workshop is good for both ASEAN students and the Japanese. We learn from them and they also learn from our perspectives. To get Japanese students know more about ASEAN, and experience working with us and bilateral cooperation is the key. I think this workshop possibly opens their eyes, somehow get them think outside the box as well. For me, five year in Japan, I did not make many Japanese friends, but we still kept in touch with some friends I had met, and I really hope that we all did appreciate the relations we had from this workshop.
